Ethernet link DOWN / Up when shutting Off/On PC

Tried everything, preventing the NIC to power off in network card power settings (device manager) and also in Bios by enabling WAN so the
LED's on the PC network card keep flashing even when the PC is shut down, still getting the router log messages no matter what I do when shutting down and
powering on my PC....
Everything is working just fine, only curious about those logs...

those are expected entries when an ethernet connection is broken and when it is activated. You should get the same thing if you leave both powered up and just unplug the ethernet cable between them and then plug it back in.

What issue were you attempting to solve ?
You should restore your original settings.

OK, same log messages when I unplug the cable from the PC…
I guess I was worried because never seen these messages when unplugging a cable
from my switch, only when unplugging right at the router LAN port…

Restored original Bios settings and network card settings, all good.
