exFAT on RT-N66U?

Hi,

I know Asus official doc says no exFAT support on RT-N66U. What about merlin build? Any chance/luck to read-write exFAT formatted harddrive when running latest merlin build on router? If not, why exFAT is not supported?

Because the kernel used by this router does not support it.
