Fast DL speeds. Slow page loads

For several weeks or perhaps longer im dealing with slow page loads and its for any random page I go to. Not always the same page im accessing. Im on Windows 8 since Jan of this year and I cant recall if this has always been since ive been on windows 8. Im hardwired with cat 6 cable im using linksys 3000 router with dd-wrt. I use google chrome as my browser. have quad core phenom with 8 gigs of memory. I downloaded namebench and unfortunately it says im using the fastest dns servers already. My cpu & memory usage never seen to go over 50% at any given moment really.

At speedtest.net everytime i scan i get about 30mbps down and maybe 15 up or so. its always showing me good speeds. I have a new docsis 3.0 motorola modem. Not sure what other info would be relevant here. Thanks for your help

forgot to mention and might be important. I have a D-Link DGS-1024D switch

Try this:

1. Open Chrome
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll down the page and click on Show advanced settings.
4. Scroll Down to the Privacy section - you should see 4 options that are checkmarked
5. Uncheck Predict network actions to improve page load performance
