The FCC allows the public to review applications submitted for devices utilizing the radio spectrum, which encompasses consumer wireless equipment. These applications typically include manuals, specifications, and photos of internal hardware; from this information the capabilities/performance of a particular device can be estimated weeks before the product reaches retail.

For October:

"D Link Corporation"
No filings.

"Cisco-Linksys LLC"
WET610N Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge with Dual-Band. Star STR9101 processor, Metalink radio chipset, three (internal) antenna jacks. I'd like to learn how Metalink stacks up to Atheros and Broadcom products.
WUSB54GC v3 USB .11G adapter. Ralink chipset. Internal antenna.

"Netgear Incorporated"
No filings.

"TRENDware International Inc."
TEW-623PI V3 PCI WLAN adapter. Ralink radio chipset (RT2860T/RT2820L), 2.4 GHz band, 3x 2 dBi antennas.

"Belkin International, Inc."
F5D7234-4 v3 Belkin G Wireless Router

Good hunting, there, jdabbs.

Don't think I have run across the WLAN chipset before. Agree that it will be interesting to look at performance.

Original post updated for entirety of October. Added device: Linksys USB WLAN adapter.
