Firmware 376.47 DHCPv6 doesn't use custom DNS

New Around Here
Everyone,

I just upgraded to 376.47 from 376.43_2 and now the DHCPv6 clients on the network do not receive the custom DNS server I set on the IPv6 DNS Setting page. Instead they get the IPv6 address of the router as the DNS. This means that my internal addresses do not resolve correctly.

If I manually edit the dhcp6s.conf file to put my server in it works, unless a change is made that causes the service to restart when the config file is overwritten.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to help get this bug fixed?

That looks to be a OK work around, but previous versions allowed this functionally from the GUI. What other functions in the GUI will be broken by replacing the config file?

I just posted a thread on this. Make use of the dhcp6s.postconf script to replace that router address with your custom dns address, and you will not have to worry about fixing that everytime you change on the IPv6 page.....

Using the postconf scripted seemed to work for a while, but now it appears newer versions use dnsmasq instead. The GUI still doesn't work, so it looks like I will need to figure out a dnsmasq.postconf script that does.
