Firmware stops uploading

I've been trying to upgrade my firmware and both custom firmwares and new Asus firmwars aren't uploading. Here is what is happening.

I go into rescue mode by pressing the power button and pressing it again while holding the reset button. Then I press upload and the firmware starts uploading but it always cuts off at around 50%.

I have the AC68u

Have you tried just using it the GUI?

try a different cable.


and why arent you using gui to upgrade firmware?
