New Around Here
I'm trying to install flexget on my ASUS RT-N66U with Tomato Shibby installed. I also have Entware installed on a USB stick. I followed the installation instruction from https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Entware and did not experience any problems. Now I'm experiencing difficulties in installing flexget, namely with the the "distribute" package. When trying to install "distribute"

using opkg install distribute

I am presented with the following error message

opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package distribute.

I checked the openwrt site to see see if I could install the package some other way. It was instructed that I could try:

opkg install http://downloads.openwrt.org/barrie...kages/oldpackages/distribute_0.6.21-1_brcm47x

but I am presented with the following error message:

Collected errors:
* pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for distribute found, but incompatible with the architectures configured
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package distribute.

Is there any way that I could install the distribute package? If not is there any package that does the same, so that I could proceed with an install of flexget.

Please install Entware-ng (Entware is not supported now).
Is there instruction for compiling Flexget/Python to native code? When I install Flexget on my Raspberry Pi2, it automatically launches the GCC and compiles to native code.

I'll write an instruction later - how to install python modules that require compilation using pip. I do not know about any instructions you are speaking about.
