Force AiMesh Nodes connect via 5Ghz?

Hi Guys,

So I now have a problem, my RT-BE88U is doing AiMesh with another RT-BE88U which works fine, but I have a quite long distance having an RT-AX56U doing an AiMesh node there, my iPhone can find the 5Ghz signal from BE88U at that place. But with no idea why the RT-AX56U can only connect via 2.4Ghz. So does merlin have functions or any scripts that I can forced the AiMesh nodes run on 5Ghz? Thanks

The AiMesh function is closed source and Merlin just uses the Asus code. You will be unhappy trying to force 5 GHz on the AiMesh nodes. Use the default settings or run some Ethernet cable for backhaul.
