Force word inclusion within forum search

I find searching for topics within this forum extremely frustrating. More often than not keywords are omitted because they are "too common, too short". The search results in numerous posts not even closely related to what I am looking for. For example, this morning I was looking for posts pertaining to "Connecting to devices from vpn". VPN was dropped from the search and the resulting posts had nothing to do with what I am looking for. My question is, is there a way to force these common, short words to be included?

Damn... I was going to include in my initial post "Why can't you be more like Google?"
