Chris

I see that ASUS has a new wireless driver. 6.30.163.46 (r401410)

Jan 1 00:00:11 kernel: eth0: Broadcom BCM47XX 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Controller 6.30.163.46 (r401410)
Jan 1 00:00:11 kernel: wl_module_init: passivemode set to 0x0
Jan 1 00:00:11 kernel: wl_module_init: txworkq set to 0x1
Jan 1 00:00:11 kernel: eth1: Broadcom BCM4360 802.11 Wireless Controller 6.30.163.46 (r401410)
Jan 1 00:00:11 kernel: eth2: Broadcom BCM4360 802.11 Wireless Controller 6.30.163.46 (r401410)

ooo I hope so - 6.30.102.9 (r366174) is giving me all sorts of problems (yes, I know its beta :) )

Check out the Professional Tab for 372. Several interesting new settings choices. I wonder if they will make it to the final release.

Those are for the RT-AC56U (that wireless driver version, TurboQAM, the 372 build version, etc...). This is the same thing I've had here for about three weeks now.

Code:
admin@RT-AC56U:/tmp/home/root# wl ver
6.30 RC163.46
wl0: Jun 26 2013 00:41:27 version 6.30.163.46 (r401410)

what's your impression on it so far and do you think it will be incorporated
into the n66 firmware?

I wonder how 'dummy' that 'dummy' info is - appears to have that same driver running on the AC66U (could just be a marketing ploy).

I presume there's no way to compile that driver version for other supported models in the current build?

My RT-AC66U has been running 372 for a few weeks now, as I was working on finalizing debugging the RT-AC56U build.

I doubt Asus will make a 372 release for the RT-N66U since 372 is pretty old code by now (Asus sent me the 372 code nearly a month ago now, so they are probably ahead of that by now).

The driver is closed-source.

Hmm do i understand you right, do you use your version of the 372 code. There is no 372 version in the RT-AC66U on the GIThub.

354.29 beta1 is what i run but i was hoping for a new version now. been a while

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to this Project.

This is a development build, I haven't finalized the 372.30 release yet.

Development and debugging takes time, especially when done alone, during spare time.

I fully understand. I long for the next version though.

Keep up the good work m8.
