FiOS has no modem ,,,it's switching from Fiber to Ethernet 1Gbps. Basically, he just needs to connect his laptop to the Fiber's Ethernet and test the speed!

By definition that IS a modem -- the ONT has to MODulate the outgoing electrical pulses of data onto a light beam, and DEModulate the incoming data from the light beam back into electrical.

Yeah but that is the device without us, customers should worry about right right, Frontier's responsible for the Modulation & De-modulation device for Fiber-Ethernet so at our end into inside our house premise, it is Ethernet,,,that's counted there,,,and Ethernet drop into inside our house
