Howdy folks,

I'd like to have RT-AC68U owners who had the reboot issues try this early test build of 374.41-alpha4:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/4x6avc1668vnzl4/RT-AC68U_3.0.0.4_374.41_alpha4.zip

I mostly wish to confirm that I properly carried over Asus's fix from 374_4887 in it.

Note that this build has received very limited testing (it's been running on my main router for about 6-8 hours), and is far from a finalized 374.41 build.

Please test it out over the weekend, and confirm whether reboot issues are still gone.

Thanks!

Begin testing this Alpha4. Use old nvram parameters.

System Log - Active Connections: Refresh shows nothing.

Also confirming this after a factory reset, besides that been running fine the last few hours.

I also noticed Nat acceleration's options have changed (back) to Level 1 CTF / Level 2 CTF. Any news on this or is it still a useless setting as it was removed a few versions back

minor error

In file Advanced_VPN_Content.asp, one line broken:

Code:
	<th><#vpn_export_ovpnfile#></th>
	<td>
	<div id="export_div">

	<input id="exportToLocal" class="button_gen" type="button" value="<#btn_Expor
t#>" />

I do expect various webui issues, since I haven't validated the 4887 code merge yet. Merging new webui code from Asus's GPL is always the worst part of a new GPL merge...

Asus implemented some security validation in the httpd backend, I haven't integrated my own code into these new validations yet.

Roaming assistant RSSI lower than XXX will not allow a negative number. Used to specify this in -db... not sure if it's a UI bug or now the RSSI needs to be a positive number and just understood that it's a -db?

Thanks for the release! Quick and stable so far ;)

Working great for me!

I consider myself a nubee. I still enjoy trying new things. This is working great no reboots in the last hour.

cdc_ncm is included...;):D

Is there any special meaning to Groundhog day ??

Probably a reference to the movie Groundhog Day. Where bill Murray kept waking up on Groundhog Day over and over. Sort of like rebooting.

LOL ok that movie was funny. But what about Bob was better. Thanks !! :D

Ok I have been groundhogged just flashed the 41alpha4 so far so good. I love the fact Merlin added the Comcast neighbor over flow issue into this one. I do still see the flashing 5 ghz led but I am sure he did not get around to adding that fix in this alpha build.

Just that for the first time in this craptastic winter/spring we've had here, this week we finally got above the freezing point.

No reboot issues here (10hrs), but didn't have them earlier either, and WiFi is also OK

But still this USB/dualwan issue how come, it worked in erlier versions ???
WD USB3.0 disc must be in USB2.0 port otherwise my LTE modem in 3G+
don't work it's always in disconnected status
(Huawei E3270s-150 none hilinkmodel and WD My Book 3.0 3TB v2 "ntfs")
failover & failback works, and correct status: one "standby" not 2*connected as in asus 374.4887beta

thanks to Merlin

New bug introduced by Asus in 4887 - they now make validate_range() require positive values, which breaks the RSSI field validation.

Ask that to Asus. I don't touch the Dual WAN code because it's too complex.
