I recently just purchased and installed the ASUS GS-AX5400 direct to my 1gb century link fiber. With my ISP router I would get about 350 upload and download with all 15 other gadgets running. So in order to speed everything up I invested in this router. Now after following instructions on removing the modem given by my ISP, I’m getting 90 upload and download. Is this just a defective router, does the router have to have the isp router/modem for some reason, or is this a bad set up?
