GT-AX 6000 upgrade

I recently faced a warranty case with GT AX 6000.

Won't update GT-AX6000 to any firmware

I have no luck updating firmware. Please help. GT-AX6000 Current Version : 386.7_2 I tried both GT-AX6000_388.1_0 GT-AX6000_3004_388.6_2 GT-AX6000_3004_388.7_0 I also did save settings and factory reset. After factory reset i tried to upload all of these firmware versions unsuccessfully...

I am looking for a replacement. Features wise my old router was fine, it had it all.

Would you recommend some newer model? With similar features, great if a bit cheaper, but not mandatory.

I also don’t need the big range, as I’ve moved to a smaller apartment since originally buying gt ax 6000 for.

Replacement model is RT-BE88U. No 6Ghz like Gt-AX6000 but you will get upgraded SOC and dual 10G LAN and WAN ports. Longer firmware update support. Till Dec 2028.

That's an overkill. I'm not sure I need WiFi 7, also, paying 425 EUR for RT-BE88U while GT-AX6000 costs 220 EUR doesn't sound right.
Any models worth considering around 200 EUR budget?
