GT-AX11000 VPN Fusion Not Connecting.

I’m trying to connect to a vpn server through the router but the connection circle keeps spinning and won’t connect.

I tried connecting through the windows client it works properly but not the router.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Fixed the issue turned out that ASUS uses an older version of OPENVPN on the router I had to generate and older version config.

I’m using Private Internet Access Generator just tick the Openvpn 2.3 box and it should generate an older version Instead of 2.4 version. Not sure if it’s available for other providers as well.

Thanks for such a quick reply! That worked for me.

For anyone else using PIA and having this issue, you can generate your own using the Private Internet access generator which you can find on your account page (At the time of writing this). Just choose the 2.3 version and select the server you want to connect to.
