HI, I currently have the GT AX11000 as my main router in my home, I have just purchased a pair of XT12 to extend my WiFi coverage, would I be better keeping the AX11000 as the main router and using the XT12 as mesh nodes or should I swap the AX11000 and use a XT12 as my main router and then the other xt12 and the ax11000 as nodes?

I have similar configuration as you, 1xGT-AX11000 main router and 2x XT12 mesh nodes. Originally I planned to use one of the XT12 to replace GT-AX11000, but I found that steam games download on 1G WAN line, GT-AX11000 I could get around 118MB/s, and XT12 only got around 78MB/s at peak rate. Thus, I did not replace the main router GT-AX11000 with XT12. I suspect that the NAT translation speed on GT-AX11000 is far better than XT12, wish that there is coming firmware update on XT12 to improve the WAN<>LAN performance.
