I have just switched to the Merline 374.42 code from stock ASUS (5656) on my AC-68U. Two interesting observations:
1) I have two USB2 devices hooked up to the router. Both connected without issue previously. After installing Merlin, the device that was connected to the USB3 port was not recognized until I disabled the Reducing USB3 interference parameter.
2) For the guest network, I had created one in the 2.4GHz area, but after guests left the house, I disabled it. With the Merlin code, nothing appears above the "enable" button for the 1st guest network. If I click enable, the Guest Network is created with my previously settings. Seems like previous guest settings shouldn't disappear after clicking disable - or maybe an option to distinguish turn off vs disable.
