Guest Scheduling and Set DNS

Hi All

Could anyone help with this script please??

Looking to schedule all my guests networks (i have 4 altogether (2 on 2.4G and 2 on 5G)) at 9am (on) and 10pm (off) - 7 days a week
Also looking to set all the guest networks DNS to the opendns.

At the moment i am looking at this thread:

But having difficulties with the script.
Also hoping all of this doesn't disturb my main wireless settings (i understand a reboot may be required when the wireless restart and i am happy with this)

This is what i have put in my init-start file (please ignore times!!)

Edit:
The Schedule wifi required multiple scripts for this to work and the commands previously listed here did not work.

Tried dnsmasq.conf with these lines:

but killed internet!!!

can anyone help??

Update 2:
Not sure if i have to use dnsmasq.conf, dnsmasq.conf.add or dnsmasq.postconf.

I know dnsmasq.conf replaces my original file hence the internet is killed, which means i have to play with the other two files.

I see so many people have asked for help with the same situation above but i cant find a definite solution.
I think i'm close though and once this is working i need a init-start script entry.

I will play around with the coding and if i crack this, i'll put up the scripts so others can use

why don't you use OpenDNS directly, without messing with dnsmasq

on your ASUS - WAN - choose "Connect to DNS Server automatically - NO"
type OpenDNS IP below
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

and you are good to go

Hi Peraburek
The reason why I dont want to use Opendns globally is that I want to have my main connection unrestricted and restrict my guest network for visitors and my children

Having said that by trial and error I have nearly got this config to work but because of time restraints and work it's taking longer for me to achieve.
Hopefully on my next day off I should be able to crack this (sometime next week)

Thanks for this info peraburek.
I will need to log in to each of my guest account and see what ip address the router is allocating each of them, then take it from there.
I did see if the post you refer to and was hoping to avoid the dhcp range part but it does make sense to include this as to make sure all devices go through the specified route.
Will try all of this next week and report back

Update:
Hi All
I have tried all day to get this script to work but still no luck
I have adding the codes to my dnsmasq.conf.add and it does change the dnsmasq.conf file on the router but the guests network still doesn't go through the opendns servers.

Does anyone have any more suggestions??


Update:
Adding these line to my script, sort of works (Opendns now works on guest networks but it also affects main network (i didnt want the main network to go through opendns servers but this script routes all networks!!).
Please note that i have added this in conjunction with the script above
no-resolv
strict-order
server=208.67.222.222
server=208.67.220.220

The key was to create additional bridges (along with peraburek's conf)
