Have I overloaded my AX86U Pro with amtm stuff?

Sometimes when doing things in amtm, the console will just freeze and I have to ctrl+c out of amtm and back into it.

For example I was just setting bm schedule time, and it hung here:

I forgot which it was, but it told me it couldn't turn logs on because diversion logging was disabled, but I checked and it was not disabled, I enabled/disabled it and tried again, no dice.

Tried again to add bm schedule and it said check logs, did, tried again, logs;

I turned off secondary network backup and tried again still hang.

RTMON shows my memory usage being pretty much full.

Have I overestimated the AX86Us capability?

AMTM scripts are optional and when you need them. Do you need all 20 scripts?

I removed a couple but the rest I need. Well, having the pages on the web-ui isn't *essential*, but I wouldn't have though that took up much memory anyway.

I tried to remove scribe,

and then the web-ui became inaccessible and I couldn't connect to the router. I have restarted it and reset amtm with option 2.

Probably best to ask in the dedicated AMTM discussion, or at least in the Add-On's subforum where AMTM topics are usually discussed.

As already stated, the AMTM scripts are optional. One should only run those they need. Running a large number of addon scripts may cause unexpected issues both with the router and individual scripts. One should check the router RAM and CPU usage along with running top via SSH to see what is consuming the router resources.

I reset and just installed diversion, skynet, rtmon;

is there a way to see how much memory a thing is using? I can't imagine the rest of the modules use 400mb minus div/skynet and rtmon itself.

One of these days you will get tired of managing all those add ons and go back to basic firmware. Maybe even the good old Asus stock firmware. And you will have time to enjoy doing something worthwhile.....

Even I draw the limit at some point, and that limit is in my siggie. They will run fine together without sweat, but I only run what I need (my router is also a diagnostic tool, good to have addons ready to go).
However, as already stated elsewhere, with all those installed you will spend a lot of your PC build time chasing router errors. You may just get sick of it.
