I wanted to introduce myself and break the ice. I got into computers early in life, but mostly on the hardware side. I worked as an electronics technician in several areas: TV/Stereo/pro audio, and later obtained an Electronics Technology degree and worked with IT solutions, computer hardware repair, network planning, security systems (both alarm and cameras) . Installed different commercial networking systems as well as advanced troubleshooting and repair of networks. I run a PC as a router (ipfire) and always looking for input, and will gladly provide any alternative solutions as well as my point of view based on past professional practices/solutions.
