I have the ASUS RT-AC3200 router running 380.65 (latest) firmware and recently I have started have issues with a couple of TP-Link power line adapters changing their IP addresses, even though they are out of the DHCP range and have reserved IP addresses tied to their MAC addresses.
I cant seem to figure out what's going on. My DHCP range is 10.0.1.101 to 10.0.1.255, and the assigned IP addresses are/were 10.0.1.46 and 10.0.1.48, each tied to its MAC address.
For no apparent reason I could not login to either device, when I used the TP-Link power line detector, it found them, but I could see the IP addresses were changing every 3 mins or so, and the range was all over the map, it would be 10.0.1.159 then 3 mins later 10.0.1.19 etc.
I have a MacBook and Apple TV on the same network, that have no issues, its tied solely to the power line adapters and I cant find anything on the web about this. Does anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can think to try is to turn off DHCP and set everything to fixed IP's to see what happens, other than that I'm stuck
