New Around Here
Hi,

I purchased the TS-110 after reading the review on the site. I concluded it is the best NAS in my budget.
As the review and on Qnap website written that write speed is appx. 40MB/s
I get only 25 MB/s.

I have dell e6400 Q8600/2GB Intel 1GB LAN 82567LM Win7.
Qnap firmware is 3.4

Any advise?

Thanks for anyone who helps.

The 40 / 44 MB/s performance is for transfer of > 1 GB files, i.e. large sequential read/write. For folders of smaller files, performance will be lower.

udp checksun offload (ipv6): checked

NAS LAN config:
1G full duplex

write speed from pc to nas is 25 MB/s
read speed from nas to pc is 40 MB/s
moving files speed inside the nas is 15 MB/s
file size is 1.4GB

thanks again for helping :)

Had the same unit for a while and found speeds were pretty variable, with large file CIFS writes around 25-30MB/s being the most common. This was with all other QNAP services disabled, firmware 3.4, formatted with ext4 I think...

I never saw anywhere near 44MB/s in the year I owned it though.
