New Around Here
Hello all ,

I am sharing an 10 MB connection with my neighbor and his router keeps on crashing : Below is the setup

1)ONT (Optic network terminal)
2)SiteCom WLR-4000 (Problem) IP SET to 192.168.0.1 DHCP NAT Firewall Wireless enabled
3)ASUS U66 AC 1750 WAN IP 192.168.0.101 (Behind DMZ) LAN IP 192.168.1.1 being used from printer and HDD Sharing.

I also have a redundant Linksys E1200 (Tried , crashed more often) please help this is getting really annoying.

This is now a double NAT setup as I prefer being on a separate network...

Please help what can be done besides changing the Sitecom that was just purchased to fix the problem ...

Try setting the WAN IP (your neighbors router (LAN port) is plugged into your WAN port, correct?) to 192.168.0.2 instead, making sure that the DHCP server is giving IP addresses above the two routers. In your RT-AC66U make sure you set the WAN IP as static to the same 192.168.0.2 address.

Now, with your Asus RT-AC66U setup to LAN IP to 192.168.1.1 and the DHCP server set to 192.168.1.51 to 192.168.1.200 (for example), your network should be more stable.
