Help? VOIP USB adapter via ASUS USB port?

Honestly.. I am not a very advanced router guy. Sooo..

Is it possible to run a VOIP USB adapter from the USB port on my RT-N66U Router? I am using Merlin 374.42 Firmware.
If so, I need a little help...

Trying to replace my ObiHai 100 VOIP box, and still use Google Voice for my Home Phone. This VOIP Dongle does not use XMPP for GV.

GVmate USB dongle. [Similar to a Magic Jack].
