Help with AC56U/Merlin and OpenVPN help - won't stay running

Hi,

I'm using the latest merlin 378.54_2 on an AC56U connected to a VDSL modem (BT Infinity FTTC) but i'm struggling getting the OpenVPN client working correctly!

I'm with Newshosting and using their VPN service and first tried the tomato setup instructions from their site, I've also downloaded the OVPN files from newshosting and uploaded it as a second try of setting this up and tried it that way - uploading the file again entered my user/pass details, turn on the client but If I navigate away from the vpn client page and come back it has turned off, tried turning it back on - reboot and again not running, in the log i keep getting ...

AUTH: Received control message: AUTH_FAILED
SIGTERM[soft,auth-failure] received, process exiting

Can anyone help me sort this out?

It is quite clear to me that your authentication is failing somewhere... Have you defined a Certificate Authority?

Yes the CA field has been filled with the full "---begin cert" and "---end cert" data from the newshosting site shown in the VPN Guide.

Edit: All fixed now, I re-entered my user pass and alls good.

Weird as the credentials were fine, no mistakes.
