Hello
I have this problem with AC68U and had it with N66U.
I have to update domains quite often, thus I need my router's DNS to respect the authoritative NS TLS values.
Unfortunately, my AC68U does not seems to respect those TTL values.
Example:
I change the NS for a domain.
The new IP will show up in my router's DNS after 1 day if lucky.
Using google's NS, the new IP is always reported after the right DNS TTL value.
Even tho I have setup my router to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 DNS servers, using nslookup with the private router IP is not showing the updated IP for the domain in question even long after TTL has passed several times over.
Any way of changing this behavior? Besides setting the LAN DNS to google DNS?
As far as I can see, the router caches IPs for too long instead of refreshing the values at the required intervals.
Thank you.
