High speed Usbdriver modems for AC68u

Hi Mr RMerlin.

A BIG thanks for your effort and work on the AC68U

I am running your fw xxxxx.38_1 and have the Huawei 3276 150mb/s modems as my Indoor from the internet and its my only way at the moment.

The Router runs inccredible good but my speed is only about 25mb/s because the lack of (as I been told) the driver "cdc_ncm.c" so the modem can work att higher speeds. I am not a programmer or anything like that så I cant fix it my self

So my Q to You Mr RMerlin:

Is there any chances that You sir will put in that driver in your firmware builds ? so its possible to gain the higher USB modems speeds?

If not I understand but I just have to ask the question

That driver was only added in kernel 2.6.38. The RT-AC68U uses 2.6.36.

Porting would require a good amount of work (based on how much might have changed since 2.6.36) and actually having access to a device to test it, so it's unlikely to happen from me.

LTE Support

I also own an LTE stick (Huawei e398) as a primary Internet.
And would be very pleased with an LTE support.

In a German forum wrote "Will because loaded with the qmi_wwan module of the stick? I believe that this new driver is required to use LTE."

Is that right ?

would be very much trouble the driver in the firmware of this rider.
