I'm new to the forums, been surfing for some time the site, but i have to ask for advice.
I'm not very familiar with NAS equipment, and soon i'll need to buy one.
I need it mainly for HD streaming to my TV.
Was thinking of the Synology DS210j, and 2x2TB drives ( the new WD 4k sector drives i have in mind, but also don't know if they work or need some special OS ).
The alternative is the Qnap TS-210 Turbo, which for all i have red is basically almost identical with the DS210j but a bit more expensive (also harder to find in stock in Romania).
Which one do you think will perform better for media streaming? The NAS as well as the media player will be wired. Are they ok for blu-ray back-ups at full quality?
Also i was thinking of a D-Link DIR-655 router.
