New Around Here
I currently has a POS Western Digital MyBookWorld. It has died twice and I need to replace it. Looking for recommendations for like 2TB unit that gives me flexibility but is stable!! Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Buffalo NAS products are OK, but they don't do a good job of keeping firmware current. Look at Netgear, Qnap, Synology IMO.

You can get a great deal on a Readynas Duo (under $200) with no disks. Its slow by comparison to many other NAS products but will be faster than the WD you currently own.

If your budget can handle it, look at the Netgear Ultra2 or Qnap TS219P
