New Around Here
I'm trying to force safe search on Google and YouTube, and I've found a couple good threads on that, but they all talk about changing jffs scripts.

I did enable jffs scripts and also formatted the jffs partition.

I see instructions like this:

admin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# cd /jffs/scripts/
admin@RT-AC68U:/jffs/scripts#

and this:

Here is what I did:
(1) Admin / Enable JFFS custom scripts and configs - set to YES
(2) cd /jffs/configs
(3) vi dnsmasq.conf.add
(4) added:
address=/www.google.com/216.239.38.120
(5) ESC, :wq
(6) reboot router
(7) ping www.google.com from PC and it does not go to 216.239.38.120

but have no idea where/how to write a JFFS script or how to get the script into the router.

Any help appreciated.

Enable SSH on the LAN interface of the router - this can be done through UI. Then login using putty or another SSH client of choice and follow the directions.
