how do i block users

Using thee Asus Android app its quite straight forward t clock users from the internet

From Asus RT-AC88U web interface it is less obvious to me how I block users. If i click on network map and client list i can see a user has been blocked (via the app) but I cant see anywhere to block/unblock via the router web interface.

Where should I look?

When you block using the app, it should be on the router under ai protection -> parental controls -> time scheduling

Where should I look?

Asus GUI > Network Map > Click the icon above "Clients"
In the Client Status list ( right hand column ) click on the client(user) and in the next pane that opens select "Block Internet Access"
