I've run into a network and sharing problem after having clean-reinstalled Windows 10 on my laptop. I want to check my RT-AC68U's default workgroup name, but what I see when I log in to the router is totally different from what the manual says I should see--with or without my plugging in a USB thumb drive. The firmware is up to date (3.0.0.4.380_7743). So what's the problem here? I'm guessing the default workgroup name is just "WORKGROUP." Still, how do I check the workgroup name?

Collin: Thanks, but no. The USB application choices I have appear above, in the attached graphic. I do not have a Network Place (Samba)... option. What am I missing here?

Sorry you've lost me. You posted 2 pictures. The first appears to be a screen shot from the manual (which looks very out of date). The second is the normal menu.

So in the second picture, what do you see when you click on "Media Services and Servers"?

Found it! Thanks! Yup--it's in "Media Services and Servers." I must have an incredibly old user manual. I'll have to update that! Thanks again. And, as I thought, it's "WORKGROUP."
