How do I enable IPv6 on repeater mode?

New Around Here
Hi,

Apologies for the noob question, pls move this thread if this is not the right place to post this.

I'm using the AC56U as my main router and the N66U as a repeater. Both are on Merlin's 374.38_2 firmware. The thing is I can get a ipv6 address on my device (e.g. iPad) when I'm connected to my main router but not when I'm connected to the repeater. Is this a correct behavior?

Is there any settings required on the repeater to enable ipv6? (In repeater mode, the ipv6 menu doesnt appear though these can still be accessed if i copy the same url from the AC56u menu - just need to changed the ip address).

Appreciate anyone's help.

The repeater shouldn't do any address management at all - it's basically a wireless access point onto the SSID, and then the client should get its DHCP answers from the AC56U.
