There's nothing to enable, it's part of the internal iptables implementation.

Hello RMerlin,

I am running 3.0.0.4.376.47_0 on RT-AC68U and looking for a option to disable NAT loopback feature, is there any ?

Thanks a lot,
Salvo

There's no option to enable or disable it. If for some reason you want to remove it, you will have to modify the iptables rule in the mangle table that implement it.

I see, thanks.

I am kind of novice, not very experience yet in Linux scripting and programming. Do you have any guide or at least could you give me more light on that like how to list the particular table that manage that or what to change ?

Appreciate your help,
Thanks,
Salvo

Why would you need to disable it anyway?

It's hard to provide any instructions because the code change depending on the firmware version you are running.

Working with rs232 on P2Partisan port to Asus Merlin firmware. I am trying to troubleshoot the script in order to correctly block the traffic .

Anyway, I thought this could be done by just changing some ip firewall rules.

Thanks
