How do I protect the Merlin system?

Hi,

I'm using Merlin firmware in order to maximize the security of my Asus tuf 3000 v2 router (the factory one is rarely updated, I guess there are many security holes over time)

My question: How can I make the system completely closed like the factory one, so that no scripts or malicious code can be installed on it?
 
Just don't enable script support on the System Page - it's already disabled by default.
