On a router running Guest Network Pro, what is the limit on the number of devices that can be in the MAC Filter List for a guest network?

Does it vary by router model? I'm most interested in what the limit is on a RT-AX86U Pro or RT-AX88U Pro.

I currently have a ZenWifi ET8 (not running Guest Network Pro), and its limit is 16 devices, seen here:

16 is insufficient for me, so I'm looking to upgrade to a more recent router with Guest Network Pro.

NOTE: I'm specifically asking about the guest networks. For the main network, most ASUS routers allow 64 devices on the "Wireless Deny List", as I understand it.

Nothing under GNP on my AX88U Pro, but this is under Wireless, presumably for all WLANs:

The firmware for those routers do not support Guest Network Pro, only the normal guest networks. Or do you mean RT-AX86U Pro and RT-AX88U Pro?

Those two routers do not support the 3006.x firmware of which Guest Network Pro is a part of.
The RT-AX86U Pro and RT-AX88U Pro are different model routers and do support 3006.x firmware and Guest Network Pro.

Wow, so the guest networks no longer have the ability to filter specific MAC addresses? I had looked at some YouTube videos of the GNP screens and I was worried that this was the case because I didn't see any such tab.

Getting rid of that capability seems to limit the usefulness of GNP for me. For example, one might want to have a whitelist all of the devices on my IoT network so that my kids can't connect to the IoT network even if they know the password. Passwords leak to kids accidentally these days given all the easy password sharing between iPhones.

If you have the Guest Network Pro network configured to Use same subnet as main network then one, I assume, could use the MAC filter on those GNP clients. Personally didn't try it because I was having other issues with GNP when I tested the 3006.x firmware on a RT-AX86U Pro.
