how to backup all of data on merlin(settings and commands)

Hi,

I changed some scripts on merlin with telnet command line. So how to backup them( scripts, settings, etc). So that next time I would restore to the current snapshot.

I don't know what you did change, but if the guidelines were followed, it should be under JFFS. The jffs section will survive a reboot, but possibly not a firmware upgrade. Using winscp you can copy the jffs section to your PC , or if you have a flash drive or a usb disk connected to your router, you can use Putty (or another terminal emulator) to copy (linux cp command) the jffs section to those disks/drive.
