Good Evening,

Is there a way I can use the router command-line via SSH to tell me the SMB share path for my USB drive attached to it? I have Samba and FTP both properly set up in the WebUI but for some reason none of the paths I have tried to connect my Sonos Client to the music folder on it have worked.

Thank you!

...let's assume you have a folder named music on your attached disk and you shared that via SMB service...

...then the mountpoint should look like this:
smb://[your_ASUS_LAN-IP]/music, i.e: smb://192.168.0.1/music

Edit: in my case where, I have two disks, my shares also hold the info on the local ASUS mountmoint in brackets, like "music (at sdc1)".

If you have a Windows PC on your LAN you can type the following (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1):
Code:
C:\Users\Colin>net view 192.168.1.1
Shared resources at 192.168.1.1

RT-N66U

Share name Type Used as Comment

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ASUS (at VERBATIM) Disk VERBATIM's ASUS in Verbatim STORE N GO
The command completed successfully.
Here you can see my share is called "ASUS (at VERBATIM)".

To remove the "(at blah-blah)" part of the name go to USB Application > Network Place(Samba) Share / Cloud Disk and set "Simpler share naming (without the disk name)" to Yes

It is actually a setiing in the FW...never thought about ist, as it appeared just when I employed my second disk...must have messed something up during setting it up.
