Hi

I've discovered, that the web interface of my RT-N66U is open from WAN on port 80.

"enable web access from wan" is disabled, so I don't understand why it's still open?

Firmware 3.0.0.4.376_3754

Another question - is't recommended to set DoS protection on?

Thanks

How did you discover that? Are you testing from inside your network?

DDoS protection won't do anything with the cpu in these routers. I leave it off.

Argh of course it's because I'm inside my network - just tested from outside, and there's no access.

Sorry about my ignorance

Thank you - no more worries

No problem. :)

Glad our RT-N66U's are still secure.
