How to force connection to 2.4Ghz network

I have smart connect enabled and the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks have the same name. Is there a way to force a 5Ghz-capable device to connect to the 2.4Ghz network? Or do I have to change the names of the networks?

My Chromecast Audio will only use the 2.4 but my tablet always connects to the 5 and the Chromecast and the tablet need to be on the same network.

Use the Wireless MAC filter. Set the 5 GHz filter to block the client MAC address (MAC Filter Mode Reject).
