ASUS router GUI has a major issue of displaying WiFi passwords in cleartext when performing mouse clicks in WiFi password field. It keeps WiFi passwords masked with asterisks (*), but the act of clicking in that field unmasks password characters. That makes it impossible to paste a new password into that field without at least some characters unmasked... That's a security/privacy issue as anyone walking by can learn some secrets that way.
VPN Fusion WireGuard profile fields don't hide private keys at all. They are displays in cleartext without being masked with asterisks (*). Just about every site and password-management application out there hides passwords with asterisks. Its a good default practice.
How can I make WiFi passwords masked with asterisks at all times and do the same for WireGuard private keys? Does Merlin firmware have an option for that?
