RT-N66U with Asus Merlin 26b
The router shows login prompt providing information that identifies it as RT-N66U. Due to security reasons I would like to prevent this. Any ideas how to manage this issue?

Try "Advanced Settings/LAN/LAN IP/Device Name"
You would have to modify the source code for this.
Thank you Merlin! I suspected that may be the string "RT=N66U" is "hard coded" in the source. Could you consider changing this in future releases? This is not a big issue when the router is accessed from the LAN side, but if the same information is provided from WAN side this will be a matter of concern.
A quick glance hasn't revealed where the string was coming for, I would have to look deeper in the code (I never really studied that section of the httpd code). My guess is that it's simply based on the modelid, but I would need to find it to be able to confirm this.
Thank you Merlin for your efforts! Just to add a similar issue - the nmap scan from LAN side identifies router as www.asusnetwork.net, which seems to be of same security concern.
