How to test the download speed from my server outside my network (not only my upload).

Hello there.

when i share a link to my friends to download some files from my synology, they only get around 250KB download speed.
BUT my upload is 50Mbit/s, and the download of my friends is even more.
Sooo 250KB is way to slow and i think, there is something wrong.

I recognised, that when downloading from my server via HTTPS it is very slow.
Downloading it without SSL is much faster
But - funny - with normal FTP (not FTPS) it is very solw too (confusing).

Anyway, my question now:
How can i test the real DOWNLOAD from my synology server?!
I dont want to test my upload - i want to test the download from outside my network...

Thank u :)

PS: Synology DS920+ (7.0 - 41890) with Asus RT-AX88U (WRT-Merlin 386.3)
Speedtest average DL 250Mbit/s and UP 46Mbit/s

You can set up a docker container that hosts a speed test for a browser.

Open or forward the appropriate ports to test from outside your network.
