Hi, Guys! Today we’ll talk about how to use rescue tool to recover your router when it came to weird


You can find Firmware Restoration on the CD which along with the router or download it from ASUS website, take RT-AC68U’s web for example:

Step1. Set your PC IP address to 192.168.1.X, let it at the same subnet as ASUS router,

Step2. Set your router to rescue mode (Push HW reset button and power on and release it after power LED flashing slowly)


Step3. Run Firmware Restoration tool (suggest to run as administrator) after install it

Step4. Choose the Firmware which you want to recover


Step5. Click “Upload” to start recover

Step6. Just wait, the tool will show successful when recover router OK
