How to use VLAN's on WAN side of AC66u??

A couple of months ago my provider (KPN) switched itv from bridged mode to routed mode. At that moment I had to rebuild the network according to their specs because of the non-working tv.

But I want the control back of my internet router, and more specific: I really miss the OpenVPN support.

So I just tried to start all over, and fired up the last firmware (.58) into the box.
I can see that I can make changes tot de ITV screen located under 'LAN'. I don't know what the priority means, but for now that is not the main problem. My provider uses 3 tagged vlan's at the WAN side, so I need to use Vlan 6 (tagged) AND a PPPoE session, to get basic internet.

But were can I select the option to use VLAN Tagging on the WAN side for the Internet Signal?

Thanx!

You need to play whit robocfg command I guess, use robocfg show to known start point of tagging. Later you may use services-start startup file.

My recommendation - based on experience in the US - don't play with the WAN side, as this can interfere with services other than broadband - e.g. Television/Voice services...

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. So I am stuck on the router/gateway of my provider. I can use the AC66 as access point. Now I need to be able to use the OpenVPN service. I shall open a new thread for that option. Again: many thanks for thinking with me for a solution.

See what VLAN tags the operator is using for their different service offerings - and then perhaps a managed switch in front, and allocate the VLAN's accordingly...

Managed switch in front of router won't work with routed ip config of provider KPN. The multicast streams are on a different VLAN, and the STB needs ip adresses out of 2 VLANs.
In the former bridged TV configuration I had it indeed working with a managed switch as first end user premise device.
