Hi.
I have ASUS RT-AC56U router that is advertised to support Huawei E3131 modem, but the modem is not working with it's original firmware, neither with Asuswrt Merlin (both were the latest version). The E3131 modem works in all computers, in other supported routers and even in my AC56U when DD-WRT firmware loaded. However, I didn't like the complexity of DD-WRT, so is there any way making this modem to work with AsusWRT (Merlin)?
When modem is connected to the USB, there is nothing listed in USB-devices. In system log there are lines about Huawei USB device, but no modem or device is visible on the main page's USB screen.
