I am looking for something robust, not flimsy or flaky, that does not over heat, etc etc etc.. I recently purchased a Buffalo linkstation Pro Quad, Which in my mind is a piece of crap. I bought the unit in April, and had two logic board failures within 2 months, (btw that is april 2011).
I am very easy on it, I get up in the morning, turn it on and forget it till shut down (gracefully of course).
What I would like to know if anyone has any info or experience regarding the NU Technology Inc. The Mfg of the QNAP drive.
QNAP Turbo NAS TS-410 4 bay unit, I do understand I have to populate it with drive, not a problem here. What I want to know is there a max drive size I am limited to. I was thinking on sticking in 4 3tb drives, for a total of 12. also what about the web access on this drive, Can I go to a website and log in to my unite and do remote downoads?
Thank You
