Hellow,
I have a RT-AC87U router with wrt-Merlin 384.13_8.
I had installed entware from AMTM with 2GB of swap file in a HD ext4 formated attached to the usb 3.0 port.
I would like to install Pyload (download manager) and Transmision (or Aria, a bitorrent client), but my problem is that after install pyload (using the published tutorial in this forum) i can´t access pyload from the lan, i use the direction 192.168.1.1:8000 (Router ip is 192.168.1.1) but the browser can´t conect, it said conection is not posible (the same message as when it can´t find a web page).
I tried with firefox, opera and explorer browser with the same result.
In the past, in the router it was working pyload and transmision through entware with wrt-merlin but i upgraded the firmware and it wasn´t possible to do it again.
I don´t known whats wrong or what´s the problem´, i´m noob using entware, i used to use tutorials and read a lot of post in this forum when i wanted to learn how to improve my router with new capabilities.
P.D. Windows 10 firewall is disconected.
Thanks for you help and your time.

To access a router from WAN you'll need WAN access enabled and DDNS service active to deal with dynamic external IP assigned by your ISP. You can't access a router from WAN using an internal IP. You have a service running on a specific port. The port should be open on the router and WAN access should look like http(s)://whatever.myddns.com:8000.

Sorry i make a mistake, i wrote it bad, i can´t access pyload from the LAN, i use the direction 192.168.1.1:8000
Thanks for your help

This is something different. Make sure your service is up and running. Make sure you access it with correct http or https.

Please do not do that, this forum is full of warnings about this (do a search). Should you need to access your router via WAN, use OpenVPN Server ....

I start pyload with this command:

/opt/etc/init.d/S51pyload start

and restart with this one

/opt/etc/init.d/S51pyload restart

So i suppose pyload is working, i try to use http and https protocol but is impossible to acess pyload, i can acess to the router usin 192.168.1.1 direction with out problem. I don´t konw what i am doing bad. I don´t know if i have anything wrong in my windows 10 configuration.
Thanks for your help

I was doing test to try know what´s wrong, i did a factory default reset, but the problem continue.
I fomated hd in ext4 and instal entware through AMTM, created a 2gb swap file and install pyload but i can not acess to pyload with web explorer (firefox and opera).
I don´t know what´s happen, two weeks ago i could do it (i use a previus firmware) even i could acess through the wan.
I don´t know what can i do to make it work.

How can i know if pyload is running?

I can't help you with that. I don't know what and how was installed on this router. I would never run a download manager on a router to begin with. This hard drive you use better gets power from external source, not router USB. Someone else may help you further.

Hi, thanks for all your help.
I try with port 8001 and it works, i checked in config file and there was port 8001 (i don´t know why because i use default port 8000) but now i find another problem, i can´t login, i write my user and my password but it said "Incorrect username/email or password."
Thanks for your help again.

Pyload setup is somehow broken, when you try to change config path with this command
Code:
python pyLoadCore.py --changedir --configdir=/opt/var/pyload
the answer is always
Configpath not changed, continuing with setup.
You have to run command again without configdir
Code:
python pyLoadCore.py --changedir
and when asked, input /opt/var/pyload and press ENTER
