Looks funny - but in the handset business - the RF is very challenging - with all the 2G/3G/4G bands that need to be supported, along with BT and WiFi dual band, and add in NFC - there's a huge amount of work that the RF engineers have to do for users to have a good experience.

Add in mixed modes - e.g. LTE for WAN, WiFi for Hotspot, and let's say BT for a voice call, things tend to get very challenging - as the device is also limited by some other regulatory things like SAR.
