New Around Here
I have come across a Qnap TB 3 card. I got it on ebay for a good deal. I already have a pretty good idea that this will not work, but I thought... what the heck. Better to try and fail, than to miss out on a very valuable feature if possible.
I installed the card, and rebooted. It was not recognized, nor was any message found anywhere regarding the existance of the card. I suspect a driver is necessary, and perhaps there is a hardware coded model number or serial number that is required to make this work. I'm just curious if anyone else has tried this. My expectations are low, but I have to at least try! Its worth the $100.
Thanks!
